Jim served for 23 years on staff at FBC Norman in the position of Minister of Family Life, giving leadership to our Family Life Center recreation ministry. Then, in January, 2008, he transitioned to his new position as Associate Pastor of Education and Family Life, giving leadership to the adult education program, including Sunday School and small group formation, discipleship, new member care and men's and women's ministries. Jim also continues to give leadership in the area of marriage and family enrichment. He and his wife Vicki have been married over 38 years, have three married children, Bryan, Joy and Brad, along with 3 grandchildren and a fourth on the way. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and Southern Baptist Seminary. Originally Jim is from Fort Worth, Texas, and somehow finds a way to root for both the Texas Longhorns along with the Sooners.
