FBC Life Groups
You will connect with others on a spiritual journey through the “Five W’s” of our life together.
| Who |
Adults of all ages, married, single -- from all walks of life, lifetime followers, as well as new believers -- seekers, saints and sinners -- all merging together in a common search, for a common cause. There’s room for you, whoever you are, to join the journey with us. Groups are formed in many different ways -- age, gender, station in life, and special interest.
| What |
Communities that share life, not defined by the names we’re called but by the passion that brings us together -- small groups of disciples, committed to the pursuit of Christ likeness, devoted to the spirit within us, the commonality among us and reaching the world around us.
| Why |
We believe that the New Testament calls us forth to be the body of Christ, and that spiritual growth is best accomplished within the scriptural model of small groups. Just as we gather with the larger church for worship, we also find true community in smaller life groups, seeking authenticity, transparency, mutual caring, self-disclosure and fellowship. Being discipled is not just our calling, it is our identity.
| Where |
Many Life groups meet at the main church campus but others meet in private homes.
| When |
Sunday morning Life groups meet from 9:15-10:15 a.m., while Home Life groups meet Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. or at other times.
Don’t know which one might fit you best? Then visit our welcome center on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45 a.m. in the church media center, located on the first floor of our main building, near the courtyard entrance. Or call 321-1753 or e-mail Jim Stewart, Associate Pastor of Education, at jims@fbcnorman.org for directions or suggestions. |
