Who: 1st-5th Grade Boys and Girls
When: March 6, 2010
Where: OKC, Quail Springs Baptist Church (meet at FBC, Norman)
What: A hands on Missions experience that kids will come away with a deeper passion to do missions.
2010 Mission Ignition is over but we have a MISSION!!
We are going for GOLD! Our mission is to complete the following:
- Volunteer to clean tables following Wednesday night meal.
- Interview pastor and find out how we can pray for him. Make bookmarks as prayer reminders for the church family.
- Conduct a FREE movie night at the church for the neighborhood, complete with FREE popcorn or other snacks.
- Make a Christmas Ornament for neighbors and invite them to church Christmas events.
- Sing at local Nursing Home and present them with 'Homemade' cards or place mats. Mission Complete, May 5, 2010 Let's Rock was performed at Rivermont and they handed out cards made by Prek-5th Grade.
- Tour the local Fire/Police Department- present them with a note of "Thanks" and a basket of homemade goodies.
Encourage us as we focus on these tasks!
