The goal of Parent’s Day Out is to provide a caring, safe environment where children can learn about the World God has made. WEE curriculum is used along with an alphabet theme. Directed and free play activities help the children learn about the World around them.  Some of the daily activities include blocks, home-living, books, puzzles, art, snack time, outside play and Bible stories.

2010/2011 PDO Tuition
1 day-$70/month
2 days-$130/month

24 hour notice for Drop-in
PDO drop-in fees are $20 per day.

Registration Fee

A $20 registration fee plus September tuition is due at the time of enrollment. Payments are non-refundable.

Payments are due the first class day, October-May. Checks are to be made payable to FBC. After the 15th of the month, a $15 late fee will be added.

Parent’s Day Out (PDO)

 

        Children and adults love summer vacations.  There are times when the days seem so long and there is “nothing to do!”  Have you heard that before?  Well PDO has one day a month set-aside for parents to have a “vacation” and kids to have “something to do”.  The first date was June 14 and we talked about God’s wonderful seashells and sand.  We played in sand and found hidden seashells.  We also played with boats and wiggly worms. 

 

God created the sun, sea, water and mud for us to enjoy.   We are planning to do just that on our remaining dates this summer.  The dates are July 12 and August 9.    Children from 9 months to 4 years can join us.  To sign-up, call the church office and ask for Jennifer.  The cost is only $20 per child for a full day of fun (9:00-2:00).  A snack will be provided.  You will need to send a lunch, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and a blanket for rest time along with a change of clothes and other items you feel your child might need.  (Everything labeled with child’s name)  We are looking forward to having great times together. 

PDO is also available throughout the school year on Monday and Wednesday.  A child can come on one or two days a week or drop-in. For more information and pre-registration contact the church office.
