Kids Hope
First Baptist Church of Norman has adopted a new mentoring program called KIDS HOPE USA—a national program that trains caring older teens and adults how to befriend children and help them learn. A KIDS HOPE USA mentor is someone who is trained to:

· Meet with a child for one hour each week at the school for at least one year.

· Work with the child in practicing certain academic skills, including reading.

· Be a positive role model and friend who could give the child a positive experience.

Kid's Hope USA gives us a way to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our neighborhood. Volunteers are needed to serve as mentors, substitute mentors, and prayer partners.
