Who Can Participate?
Membership
Use of the Family Life Center is open to Members of First Baptist Church and their guests, Community Members from the area, and those enrolled in the Minister’s Program.
Membership & Fees
1. FBC Membership—Active church members with approved form on file at FLC. No fees.
2. Minister’s Program Membership is for local, professional church staff and their immediate family members in the same household:
$25 Semi-annual fee per person. Allows use of Track, Racquetball Court, Locker Room, Game Room, Gym & Fitness Center.
3. Community Membership is for anyone in our area who is not an FBC church member:
Option 1: $35 Semi-annual Fee,
Use of Track only.
Option 2: $50 Semi-annual Fee, Use of Track, Locker Room, Racquetball Court, & Game Room, but not Fitness Center. Basketball from 12pm-2pm only.
Option 3: $125 Semi-annual Fee, Allows use of the Fitness Center, Track, Locker Room, Game Room,
Racquetball Courts, & Gym.
Guests
All FLC Members are encouraged to bring guests. Each FBC Member may bring two guests per visit.
Minister and Community Members may bring one guest five times before they must join.
Guests are not allowed in the Fitness Center. All guests must abide by conduct policies and must leave when Host Member leaves.
Visitors
Visitors are individuals who are participating in one of our programs or bringing children to one of our programs. Visitors are to remain in the particular area where their group is participating.

General Information
Our Facility
Game Room—Pool, Ping Pong, Foosball, Table Shuffle Board, and various table games. Children 9 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Garden of Eatin’—Room with a café atmosphere that is great for groups to rent. It seats 35 to 40 people.
Gymnasium—A regulation size gym offering basketball, volleyball, roller skating, and other active sports.
Fitness Center—Includes strength and cardio machines designed to really work every muscle group and provide excellent cardiovascular conditioning. Age 13 must be with a parent and have a written doctor’s slip. Age 14 must be with parent.
Locker Rooms with Showers—Locker rental and towels are available upon request at the front desk. Locks are recommended for safe-keeping of personal items.
Racquetball/Walleyball—Two regulation courts. Drop-in play is allowed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; reservations for remaining hours may be made one day in advance. Participants must be 13 or accompanied by a parent.
Walking/Running Track—1/16th of a mile. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Multi-Purpose Rooms—The Craft Room, Koinonia, Kratos, and Conference Rooms are utilized for such purposes as fitness classes, meetings, birthday parties, support groups, banquets, and creative art classes.

Appropriate gym and exercise clothes are required at all times. Athletic shoes must be worn in the Fitness Center and proper court shoes in the gym and racquetball courts. Personal skates, cleats, turf shoes, heelys, and black-soled shoes are not permitted on wood floors. Shirts required.
Actions
As we have been commanded to love one another, please do so with kind words and actions. Abusive or degrading language, profanity, and fighting will not be tolerated. The following are not allowed: tobacco, alcohol, controlled substances, fireworks, firearms, or pets.
Age Guidelines
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult while at the FLC.
Availability of Facility
First Baptist church programs and activities take precedence over any other events. Please check with the FLC office before planning your recreation.
Playground Availability
The playground is open dawn to dusk daily. We invite the community to use the playground during operating hours with the following exceptions.
On school days the playground is closed to the public from 10:00a.m.-10:30a.m., 2:00p.m.-2:30p.m., and 4:00p.m.-5:00p.m.. Please no smoking and no pets.
We hope your children enjoy the use of the playground.
