A SALUTE TO THE VIETNAM VETERAN

Join us as we celebrate "A Salute to the Vietnam Veteran" on the evening of July 4th, 2010 at Reaves Park in Norman, Oklahoma. The Norman celebration will be a concluding program that will originate the evening before in Tulsa. The event will "travel by motorcycles" to Bricktown in Oklahoma City, then end in a celebratory salute at the park. Singers and instrumentalists are encouraged to participate with Oklahoma military bands in a mass choir and band. The group will perform patriotic selections honoring our veterans with flag corps presentations, military fly-overs, the traveling Memorial Wall, a salute to our soldiers, fireworks and more.

Rehearsals for the music group will be held in June at First Baptist Church prior to the celebration. For more information regarding music repertoire and to participate, contact pattid@fbcnorman.org.
