"The LORD is our God, the LORD alone. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children.

Early Childhood Ministry

The Early Childhood ministry at First Baptist Church focuses on teaching children about Jesus and His love. Through loving relationships, children learn who Jesus is, what it means to be a Jesus friend, how to trust the church, and where love can be found.

We are pleased to provide, to all families that attend church related functions, the peace of mind of a private paging system and numbered security stickers. The parent/guardian of any child left in the Early Childhood area will check out a nursery pager when they leave their child and fill out a security sticker.

Weekly Schedule

Parent/Child Dedication

Parent/Child Dedication is an opportunity for parents to present their child to their community of faith, publicly promising to raise him or her in a Christian home and to teach them what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. As a part of a family of faith, you are not raising your child alone. When our church comes together for a parent/child dedication, we are not simply celebrating the gift of a child and the commitment of a parent. We are embracing our responsibility to support families by teaching God’s Word, serving one another in love, training up disciples of Jesus and pointing others to Christ. In turn, the congregation covenants with the parents to share in the responsibilities of nurturing and teaching that child and helping them to grow in their faith.

Children's Ministry

First Baptist Church desires to partner with parents as we educate children and model what it means to make Jesus our Lord and Savior. The Children’s Ministry is laying a foundation for children to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The journey does not end with the decision to accept Jesus, but continues to grow through daily/weekly discipleship.
