Easter has come and gone.
Or has it?
What if Easter is the beginning of something new, not just the remembrance of something old? By looking at the initial days of Jesus’ earthly ministry through the eyes of Luke, we discover that Jesus began His earthly ministry with great purpose and direction. Through His baptism, wilderness temptation, clarifying life mission, calling of disciples and initial works of healing, Jesus intentionally established the character and nature of His earthly ministry.
Likewise, we must intentionally live with purpose and direction. With Easter as the beginning point of God’s new work in our lives, we can build upon the foundation of resurrection and experience the transforming power of Easter each day of our lives.
Join us in worship over these next weeks as we consider the implications of Easter for today!
