Hiding Eggs and Showing Love

Posted on

God provided a beautiful and perfectly sunny day for Saturday’s Sonshine Celebration. Children from babies to school age ran all over the playground in search of eggs filled with candy and a few prize eggs. Smiles, laughter, and joyful hearts grew as we gathered for a meal and a time of fellowship after the hunt. With our Recreation and Community Outreach Minister Clint Taylor at the grill, everyone knew the hotdogs would be delicious.

As Minister to Children, I am blessed with the opportunity to love, serve, and cherish our youngest members and their families. However, our other FBC Ministers do this as well. I am thankful God me called to serve with a ministry staff that is involved in the activities and lives of our children. On Saturday, many of them showed up to our children’s event to say hello, to help serve, or the help hide eggs.

The families of FBC Norman and our FBC Kids are blessed to have a ministry staff that loves and appreciates them. Next time you see a staff member, thank them for their love, their time and their generosity of spirit.
