 Laura Robertson, Interim University Minister

Laura joined FBC Norman in 2013 while attending her last semester at the University of Oklahoma. After being a part of the University Ministry for over a year and interning for a semester, Laura accepted the call to be interim in October of 2014. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors in Communication and a minor in non-profit, all while keeping her heart and focus on serving God and His Church.

With that desire in mind, Laura plans on attending George W. Truett Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2015 to work on a Masters in Divinity, with a focus on missions and world Christianity. For the last year and some months, Laura has lived with a wonderful family from FBC Norman where she helps take care of five beautiful children-but she really feels like they take more care of her.

Along with the adventures of being "sister LaLa", Laura enjoys camping, coffee, chocolate, playing board games no one else has heard of with her friends, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Sunday afternoons are best described as afternoons of hospitality. Families within our church open up their homes for us to come and rest, enjoy, and eat a great meal. This will be good for you. Don't you miss home?

1st & 3rd Sundays: meet in church family's home for food, games, and discussion.

Connect - Baptist Student Fellowship is a student group at The University of Oklahoma. Connect is supported by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Oklahoma and serves to support the mission of CBF in Oklahoma and the call of Christ by being the hands and feet of Christ on OU's campus, in the Norman community, and in the world.

When we say "Missions" at FBC we mean being Christ wherever you find yourself.

Missional project trips are available both locally and abroad for university students. Making Christ and his love known in the world is essential to a Christian life…go out, love those in the world, and watch the miracles that God performs. New trips from FBC launch every year…it's your time to get involved!
