After a long season of winter in our world with a pandemic, our nation with social and political unrest, and a historic late winter storm, we are ready to Spring Forward. The glimpses of spring have turned our thoughts to the hopes of new life and a future harvest. In order to Spring Forward, we must grieve the loss of the winter and prepare the seed and soil of our lives for the coming rains. Where are we praying the rain of God's Spirit fall after the long, dry months of winter? What harvest are we asking the Lord to provide? What are we doing personally and as a church during this season to prepare for the summer and fall harvest?
